Target Audience
Parents & Carers
Parents & Carers are key influencers in young people’s career decisions. We work in partnership with families to ensure they have the knowledge, confidence, and tools to support their child’s journey into the world of work. By engaging parents and carers, we help unlock opportunities and raise aspirations for all young people.
Educators:
We support primary and secondary schools, alternative provisions, post-16 and Further and Higher Education providers, particularly those serving underrepresented or disadvantaged communities. Through high-quality, careers-focused interventions aligned with national frameworks such as the Gatsby Benchmarks for Good Career Guidance, we support educators in embedding aspiration, work-readiness, and life skills across the curriculum. In addition, we offer CPD and consultancy services to drive whole-school improvement in careers education and enhance social mobility outcomes.
Businesses:
We partner with businesses of all sizes that are committed to creating inclusive, diverse talent pipelines and supporting social mobility. By facilitating meaningful engagement with young people, from mentoring and insight days to work placements and project collaborations, we help employers build relationships with future talent while contributing to their ESG and CSR goals. Our approach ensures that business involvement is impactful, sustainable, and aligned with both community needs and workforce priorities.
PROGRAMMES & INTERVENTIONS
Empowering Young People Through Education, Mentorship & Real-World Experience
Our approach focuses on building strong partnerships with educators, parents/carers, and businesses to create sustainable pathways for young people. By connecting with young people via careers education and bridging the gap to real-world applications, we help students gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed.
The novi FUTURES team has developed a diverse array of programmes, resources, interventions, and activities. We provide targeted support tailored to each partner's needs, whether it's a school requiring help to access providers, or a business developing a programme for the first time, we offer a comprehensive support package for all.
Our key initiatives include:
Education & Careers Support:
We design and deliver tailored programmes that close the gap between education and employment. Our initiatives support young people at every stage of their journey from academic development to career readiness. This includes careers education, work experience opportunities, employer encounters, and transition support into further education, apprenticeships, or employment. We focus particularly on those at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and those from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.
Mentorship, Coaching & Alumni Engagement:
We connect young people with a wide network of professionals, mentors, and role models who can offer guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights. Through structured mentoring programmes, coaching sessions, and alumni engagement, participants gain the confidence, knowledge, and networks they need to thrive in the modern workplace. These relationships provide both inspiration and practical support, fostering a sense of belonging and ambition.
Partnerships & Collaborations:
We build strong, strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, employers, local authorities, and community organisations. These collaborations enable us to deliver authentic, real-world learning experiences such as workplace visits, internships, project-based learning, and employer-led workshops. By bringing together education and industry, we help ensure that young people are developing the skills and mindsets required in today’s rapidly evolving economy.
Policy & Advocacy:
We are committed to driving systemic change by engaging with policymakers, education leaders, and industry stakeholders. Our advocacy work focuses on improving access to quality education and employment pathways for all young people, especially those from marginalised communities. By contributing to national and local conversations, publishing evidence-based insights, and influencing policy development, we aim to shape a more inclusive and equitable future for the next generation.
